Terms of sales

The prices for this dealer website apply to FOB Fredrikstad, excluding VAT. Environmental tax applies to all tires shipped to Norway. Cost of shipping will be added to orders.

Price changes occur on an ongoing basis based on changes in the replacement price of the individual goods. We reserve the right to correct incorrect prices, and if this should happen on an ordered item, we will contact you to get acceptance for the price change.

In the event of late payment, default interest is calculated at the current rate, and until full payment has taken place, the seller has ownership of the goods.

Transport damage or product defect

When sending goods, these must be checked immediately upon receipt, without undue delay. Transport damage must be reported immediately to the carrier with a note on the consignment note and signature from the carrier.

Defective situation, including damage, scratches on rims, deviations in roundness, balance, etc. for tires, must be notified before the goods are used by the customer. Pictures with explanation and reference to invoice number are sent by email to post@megahjul.com

Returns

Returns of goods must be approved in writing by email. Specially ordered items are not returned, and the standard return fee is a 10% deduction from the purchase price. Returned goods must not be used and the original balance must be in good condition. Buyer covers return shipping.

Warranty on goods

All items are sold with a one-year warranty and a 2-year warranty. Warranty applies to manufacturing defects and not product damage caused by external influences from the car and / or the environment. Product warranty does not cover damage to product caused by external influences, including stone chips, incorrect wheel alignment on the car and / or damage caused by edge driving or encountering holes in the road.

Compliance with national rules

The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the products meet current requirements in accordance with lovdata(www.lovdata.no). The configurator on megahjul.com, felgkatalogen.no and zaxwheels.com meets most requirements for load capacity, tire side position and pressure. If you choose products based on EU configurations, the maximum change for indentation of 7.5 mm does not apply.

Warranty on the surface of rims, including paint and clearcoat, does not cover damage caused by strong cleaning agents and chemicals. Rims can only be cleaned with suitable detergents that are removed afterwards in a thorough manner, so that corrosion damage does not occur. Avoid the use of rim cleaners, because it turns out that it is difficult to flush away all residues, and corrosion damage occurs in such cases.

Rims, nuts and bolts must always be checked on the car, and the length of the bolts is checked so that the rim rotates freely. The rims must always be checked against brake calipers so that the required distance is cleared. Consequential damages caused by the buyer failing to carry out pre-inspection are not covered by the warranty on the product.
